Nokia 2.4, Is it good to buy for Rs. 10399?

Nokia 2.4 was launched in India a few days back. It is the successor to the Nokia 2.3 and kind of serves as an option for people who want a Nokia phone that is the latest and also within the budget. Nokia 2.4 costs Rs 10,399, which is a pretty affordable price that most people prefer.

Nokia 2.4 Design and look

Nokia 2.4 has a trendy design that involves dark and light shades of a single colour. It comes in three colours. This colours and viewing angle are pleasant and brings a subtlety about the looks. It is not too loud or gaudy yet brings a tinge of premium along.

Display & Cameras in Nokia 2.4

The display of 6.5-inch is also large enough to watch movies, shows, and even play certain games. The brightness of the display is, however, an issue. The Nokia 2.4 display does not get too bright under direct sunlight. It is not a severe issue but I got to tell you in case your work with the smartphone involves being outside a lot.

Nokia is known for its cameras across different ranges. The photo quality Nokia cameras can bring is good. It is not exceptional but it is not underwhelming despite not being in the specifications war. Nokia 2.4 has a 13MP main camera that is accompanied by a 2MP depth-sensing camera for portrait shots.

Operating System and Updates

The Nokia 2.4 runs Android 10 under the Android One. This is similar to the OS interface that Google Pixel phones come with. There are only Google apps and system apps that you find on the phone. Bloatware is not there. Best thing is that HMD Global is also offering two years of Android updates and two years of security updates to the Nokia 2.4.

Nokia 2.4 battery capacity

The 4500mAh battery inside the Nokia 2.4 can go on for more than a day. The smartphone can be used for basically everything in 24 hours, for photography, for watching YouTube and Netflix, playing some games frequently, chatting on WhatsApp.

The battery did not disappoint me at all. But here is a little issue. The battery takes more than two hours to fully charge because there is no fast charging. It has 10W charging adaptor much similar to that of Nokia 5.1 plus, but 18W would have been better option for this smartphone as it have a bit more battery capacity than that of Nokia 5.1 Plus.
